Nothing was explained to me just figured it was like any other 5.3l engine. Honestly deal i bought it from wouldnt even run through stuff with me. Have been having nothing but trouble with them. You would think that dropping 80 grand into a truck would mean something...

Sounds like they wanted your $$$ and that was it. If you are looking to go the blower route, Edelbrock does make their E-Force supercharger line for the 2014-2015 5.3 and 6.2: http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/mc/superchargers/gm-truck-suv.shtml

First why do you want to put new injectors on? The ones you have are more than enough. If you supercharge, 90% of kits come with the right injectors. Also if injectors are changed then custom tuning has to be done.

Was looking down the road. As I have a hypertec programer that came with the truck. I am putting an air intake as well as headers with high flow cats to dynomax race bullets. I am just looking for boosted fuel economy and HP as I cant find a supercharger for my truck. I am already running a 6" bds coil over lift. With 35 trail grappler M/t. Lord knows I would put roller cams on if it wouldn't shoot my warranty all to hell.

Hmm learned something new and saved some money. Thanks. Ill throw up some pictures when i get a chance later on

You may want to avoid any urges to apply engine mods based upon ads or keywords. With the systems in use today, there are very few items that can be bolted on that will give you any gains other than a lighter wallet. Keep a watch on Edlebrock, they will likely have a E-Force system out shortly.

As previously pointed out, your truck has direct injection. Direct injection will not react the same way to bolt on mods like traditional port fuel injection did. Gasoline direct injection has been around in one form or another since the beginning of the automobile, but not so much in performance aftermarket. Besides the difference in the location where gasoline is combined with the air, most direct injection engines do not have a traditional throttle plate system to control engine speed. That removes vacuum pump effect that we are all accustom to. I have not found out if GM has gone the no throttle plate route. Actually have not spent much time looking either.

I think we will find that what was done in the past to increase power will not be the same with direct injection(the basic premise is the same, the route to implement won't be the same). The computer has far better control over the power generated. Personally, I would wait on the bolt-on go-fast toys for now, and just wait until other people jump in and find out what works, and what does not. Any DIY intake/exhaust mods may do nothing but change the noise. I have not read anything in regards to the computer tuners(both custom and packaged versions) results with their tuning. Would be interested in seeing any real dyno results though.

Hello i am new to the site. I recently bought a 2014 high country and im looking at putting holley 522-308 universal fuel injectors on it. If not could you recommend ones that will

And how exactly can a person put universal multiport injectors on a new 5.3? I assume that the truck was explained to you when you bought it...because those won't work...period...

Think about that for a second...universal does not always mean universal...especially on a DIRECT INJECTION engine...
