Did you use the Boss lower valance on the bumper? They are the best trucks to hang a plow on!

Yes, I used the Boss Valance adaptor works great! This truck replaced an '08 Ford f-250 V-10 regular cab with a Western straight blade.. No comparison! While the V10 had good power... It did not plow snow nearly as well as this rig! 5,200 miles of enjoyment so far! Something about the IFS hugs the ground and puts the power down:)

Fuel economy is terrible.. I knew that going in to it. I get about 9 around town empty. Plow and salt in back about 6-8mpgs. 12mpg on highway. 6600 miles. I do like the 6.0 motor overall. Great power for what I use it for.

I am not running a plow, and my new 2500HD 6.0L has a lifetime mpg of 14 on the DIC for the 500 miles I have on the pickup. City and Highway combined. That is on E15 fuel also. Best value near me right now.

That's on par with what my old man is getting with his 2015 2500HD 6.0 (no plow either)
