Why I LOVE my 2014/2015 Chevrolet/GMC pickup

Recommended Posts

Here it is:

Post why you LOVE your 2014/2015 Chevy or GMC pickup.

My 2014 Silverado All Star 5.3 4x4 is be far the quietest, most comfortable, economical and powerful pickup I have ever owned. The backup camera makes it very easy to reverse. The audio is very good for stock, worlds better than my '02 Silverado.

Only complaint is the crap paint.

...which is OUTSIDE the scope of this thread.

Still, if you want a show-car paint job, all you have to do is write a check.

...we now return to our regularly scheduled thread.

Because it's the most comfortable vehicle I have owned, and I've owned a bunch. Large cabin that is incredibly quiet, tight handling for a truck, wonderful road trip vehicle. It turns heads of other Chevy, Ford, and Ram drivers on the road.

Thank you for this thread! I'm tired of all the negativity here.

I love the column shifter! I hope they never change to buttons, dials, or the storage killing console shifter.

It DOES get tedious after the first few posts.

Not to throw stones, but there are people in this world you could give a solid gold brick, and they'd bitch because it was too heavy.

I do feel sorry for those with problems, but I'm very picky and will complain about the smallest problems. I have no complaints as I really like everything about this truck.

I love everything about it except having 3.08 gears which I plan on changing.

The look

Rides like a Cadi

Has great power while having good mileage

The fact that did away with suicide doors for the extended cabs, so I like the Double Cab

Love the rear bumper corner steps and the ez tailgate

Love the new DIC with XM and all of the buttons on the steering wheel

Love all of the different USB ports, 12 volt plugs and the 110 volt plug

Love all of the stuff I can do with the On Star Remotelink app

Also love a lot of the small things like the LEDs, even the small LEDs in the door handles and a small LED for the cup holders

I love the sound after I had a Flowmaster Super 44 put in

Other stuff too that I can't think of, I get a lot of compliments on it and I haven't really done much to it so far

Cause i bought it. Wouldn't have spent that much cash on something i didn't like/love. I love the side steps on the bumpers.

Totally agree. For all the people that have enough to bitch about to have a list longer then some bookp, did you not actually drive the truck?

I've enjoyed owning my Sierra, I'm picky about my vehicle and I don't regret buying this one.

Why I like my truck? Why not.

Ya, it's not a cold start up since I had to drive about 15 minutes to where I knew I could get on it.

It's more aggressive than the Super 40 and a little louder also. It's the best sounding truck I've ever owned and I'm glad I found the exhaust setup that's perfect for me.
