Anybody know somebody like this....?

I'm sure we all know that person that when they tell a story, you can never tell what is true, if any of it. A guy at work is like that. He always has these crazy stories of things happening to him on the weekend or things that have happened to him in the past. We'll call him Mike

One example (i was just told this by another guy that sits next to me). Apparently Mike wanted to be stormchaser in college. So he took all the climatologist classes which included some trig, physics and many upper-level science and math courses. But, he couldn't pass algebra so his professors wouldn't let him graduate because he could pass algebra. That doesn't make sense. Wouldn't you have had to take algebra (or some lower level math) to even be able to take trig, physics, etc?

This guy is about 5'7" and claims that all of his brothers are 6'7" all the way up to 7' and his youngest brother plays basketball for USC. We checked the roster and there is nobody with his last name that is on the team or even from TN.

We have many other stories that this guy has told us and we can't take anything he says seriously anymore. Sometimes the stories are so out there that they are actually pretty funny and entertaining and provide a good laugh during the day. Based on all the stories we have come to the conclusion that while the main points of the event/story might be true, the inbetween and how he gets from the beginning to the middle might be a little far fetched.

So does anybody know somebody like this?

my roommate in college (and one of my best friends to this day) is like this. he's always telling stories that are half-filled with truths and half-filled with blatant lies. he'll lie about some random event i was standing right next to him for. it's never about anything particularly important, just stupid stuff. i do what any good friend does: when we're in a large group or around some girl in a bar he's trying to impress, i let him tell his story and nod my head in agreement. when it's just the two of us i call him out and tell him he's a lying f'er.

Yup, I know of someone like that....fortunately with all the legal issues he added onto his fantasies he disappeared and haven't seen him in years. My favorite story was when he would talk about the Victoria Secret model he was dating and then was engaged to. Then when he went to get married, suddenly she was in this car accident and he couldn't find her...and so on and on.

There was a guy where I worked that always wanted praise/pat on the back. His stories were how he saved the day, had to tell the tech how to do something, or out smarted someone, could have/did buy it cheaper, his (fill in the blank) was better than anyone else. You know that guy.

My best friend since we were about 3 (now my brother in law) is the exact same way. His is always bigger, faster, worth more, and better no matter what it is. He also is a great friend tho, and over the past 35 years I have really learned how to mess with him to get riled up when he starts on the "mines better" type stuff.

Who married who's sister?

He had been married to his wife for about 10 years (I was in their wedding even) and they had a Bon-Fire/Party at their house one night and this long legged 5'11" bombshell shows up. Immediately I go to my buddy and am like who is that and what is her story. She was my buddies wife's sister and had been divorced for about 2 years.(All this time and no mention of a very hot sister) Talked to her briefly that night, found out she played volleyball with my buddies wife so I went along with him to a few of their games, took me 6 months to get enough nerve to ask her out. (She had been just patiently waiting) 6 months later my best friend became my brother in law.
