Driving as Therapy?

Does anybody else find just going out for a drive on a quiet afternoon/evening enjoyable? Several nights a week I'll just feel like "taking a drive" with no planned destination. Just me in my clean truck (gotta be clean for me) with the Eagles or something mellow on the stereo. Man, I just find it so relaxing.

By myself, at night, open road, with either "Come Sail Away" by Styx or "Lights" by Journey. Thst will always calm me down when im stressed

"Lights" is such a damn good song.

"Love Song" by Tesla is a good relaxing driving song, as well.

My "driving therapy" must involve being scared to death. Slow, relaxing drive with mellow music would tend to put me to sleep. I take my Z06 instead.

I agree. For me the longer the drive the more relaxing. When we have work in Wyoming or Montana I am the first to volunteer. A 600 mile drive once and a while is just what the doctor ordered.

Same here. Taking the long way home (or wherever I'm doing), windows down with some 90's country. One day I'll have a Jeep to do that with the top down (or an old Scout or Bronco).

lil Clay Walker, John Anderson, and Diamond Rio never hurt nobody

Agreed 100%....windows down with some 90's country...aint nothing better! An old International Scout are nice rare 4x4's...dad has some old 1975 Chevrolet K5 blazers, last year of the full-tops. He's collected them over the years.
