Aftermarket OE Projector Headlights

Recommended Posts

I've been wanting to upgrade my headlights from the LT version to the LTZ/High Country version and I came across this parts store that has the exact headlights in aftermarket for a really good price. Just wanted to see if anyone had any opinions on this company, or maybe they have purchased themselves a set?

I have these now with better projectors retrofitted in. They are made by Eagle Eyes and look really good. Only time will tell on the durability though. You can find these for like 375 a set in eBay though.

The projectors they come with actually aren't that bad with a quality hid kit in them but I'm a sucker for OEM his equipment.

How long have you had your headlights now? I was concerned about durability as well, but they do say the product is backed by a 10 year manufactures warranty.

I've only had them a couple months but that warranty won't cover them wearing down naturally. Ie oxidation of the lense etc

How was the quality of the product overall? Did it seem to be a really well built headlight assembly, or did some parts of it feel/seem cheap?

If they're using the same housing as the Anzo's (which they probably are), the quality should be just as good as stock, my Anzo's are very high quality.

I actually just bought a set last week, and installed them this past weekend. I'd say the build quality is right up there with oem, fit and finish of everything was spot on, and install looks stock, no misalignment at all.

Do these just hook up right to the LT's? Any wiring involved?

No they were plug and play. Everything worked. Before you out the front end back together drive your truck around for a little to make sure all the bulbs that came with it work. Not far from my driveway one of the signal bulbs broke. So I had to replace with the set I already had from my stock lights.
