A mat without the cutout under the gas peddle. When I pay for off road packages I want to actually get one. A real suspension, real skid plates. Round wheel wells to allow larger tires. And along with that again paying for an off road package and getting pathetic tires is bullshit. Also when I pay for premium sound like Bose be top of the line and really pump. Tow mirrors with cameras and safe change alert sensor. Ability to disable AFM and any of the other "drivabilty" options. A smooth tranny without issues. Powder coated frame and full under coat. What really bothers me in most of these areas I already paid for these upgrades.

You appear unhappy with the brand of truck you chose. It sounds like a Raptor would be a good fit for you however you have to pay even more!

The next generation Silverado/Sierra needs to have an available duramax option. With Ford, Dodge and even Nissan offering a diesel, GM needs to put that 4.5 into testing again.

Not at all. I love it compared to my f150 that I had prior. HATED that. Granted not a Raptor but couldn't believe how poor the inside was designed. But yeah a gmc raptor would be cool

I would just like to go back to being able to order what you want and not have to buy an entire packet to get one or two items in it. I gave up a lot of options this time around because I refused to pay for things I didnt want or need to get the few things I wanted. I wanted a new truck with

5.3L

4x4

black in color

Crew cab

leather

auto dimming mirrors

the 4 aux upfitter switchs

and no crome

Those options where going to cost me a lot because of the other non sense I was going to have to buy. Power telescoping wheel and pedals, lane departure, and hill decent assist are among the few. I didnt want those things, I wont ever use them and dont want to pay for them just to get what I want.

afm gone...forever

It may be if Trump relaxes recently imposed epa mileage numbers like he says .

I really want to see manual transmissions offered again but accept the difficulty with making them satisfy EPA requirements. I also accept AFM as a new reality. I sure hope that relaxing "mileage" numbers doesn't mean we're going back on improvements already achieved!

I don't understand the hate for AFM...GM and Dodge have used it forever. I once drove a worn out Dodge 1500 with over 200k miles for work that would've had Multi-Displacement and it ran fine.

8' bed on the double cab 1500... the 6.5 is just too short.. even a 7.25' would be better.. Just to be able to close the gate while having a couple dirt bikes in the bed would be great. Having the tail open is not always an option,, like when a camper is on the back.

Due to EPA mpg mandates, you will never see the 6.2L available in lower trims. In fact, it is doomed to disappear altogether very soon.

If GM could just build a truck that doesn't shake or shift like an epileptic having a seizure I'd be a return customer.
