Farmers take note: Colorado and Canyon come with a $500 discount

American Farm Bureau members will now enjoy a $500 discount when they purchase a new 2015 Chevy Colorado or GMC Canyon. Even better, the new Farm Bureau discount does not take away from other incentives such as Owner Loyalty or GM Business Choice. The new trucks join 80 other GM vehicles on the list that Farm Bureau members enjoy discounts on.

 

Not a Farm Bureau member? You better join soon because only members who have belonged for 30 days or longer are eligible. Members print their savings certificates at fbverify.com/gm. Yeah, just the pickup for farmers to haul around large bales of hay, straw, corn fodder, etc that weighs in at 1000 lb per bale. And a sure bet for hooking up that gooseneck and hauling the skid loader or livestock. While it is cool that Farm Bureau members get a discount for this pickup, let's face it.... very few, if any, farmers or ranchers are going to buy this particular pickup. It is targeted to the non farmer members of Farm Bureau, which there is a considerable number. There are more non farmers who belong to Farm Bureau (mostly for insurance and financial services) than farmers. So the topic title should be "Farmers Take Note, and laugh, but non farmers take note and get in on the discount" All of this coming from a farmer still living on the family farm he grew up on.
