I like all the little things I've did. .. but my favorite is the 2.5 level kit and tires c1d6f496cf37f6c5f655ce5a5c98c782.jpg

SlavO,

Your truck looks awesome!

Could you please give me a link to the leveling kit you used??? I have an RC lift/leveling kit on my 07 1500 and am planning to level the front on my 15 2500HD when it arrives in April. Was planning to just turn the bars....but would be interested in looking at a true leveling kit it there is one that works well.

Thanks!

That is a 1/2ton that uses simple spacers under/above the coil springs.

On a HD truck it is totally different. You can crank the torsion bars but it will ride like poop. Cognito stage 6 plus a fox steering stabilizer and front diff spacers will make you very happy! Might as well add sleeves while at it.

Cranking stock torsion bar keys is the same as cranking aftermarket reindexed keys that allow you to crank even more. The big difference is the hit to your pocket book. My old HD rode just fine, better in fact, on the stock keys cranked than the leveling keys I had.

Hard to say right now. Everything has been for function so far. It is between the level; cheapest mod, the tires the ranch hand running steps and the protech tool box. Spray in bedliner has also been added since the tool box pic. Sorry, truck is kind of nasty from the harsh North LA winter, ha!

No doubt about my favorite mod... 14" Magnaflow with resonator and flapper delete. Very aggressive sound... love it!

Is there a video of it?

I'd have to say my 4.88 gears and PPE covers as of now. But who knows how I will feel by next week. Installing AFE 5 inch exhaust DP back, down-pipe, Deviant EGR delete and up-pipe, EFI Live tune, Edge CTS w/EGT probe.

Well, I got all I am doing to the new 2500 done for the most part. It got Line-X before dealer handed it off to me. I put on Raptor stainless running boards, an Access tonneau cover along with a total bed and tailgate seal to keep out dust and dirt from my gravel roads. And for a final touch, put on a Putco insert in that gapping hole in the front bumper for the trans cooler. Couldn't locate mud flaps that would do the best job for me on those gravel roads without putting mud all over the exhaust in the back bumper, so I took some Freightliner 16" x 19" mud flaps, trimmed the sides to 12" width, put on stainless mud flap ends and installed. Looks pretty good. Sure causes some looks. The red and while Freightliner logo stands out. I did put molded splash guards up front. They work well with the Raptor boards to protect the sides from gravel. And the wife wanted a rear window mural of horses, so got that put on also. I did use McGaughy's shackles and did a rear lowering of 2". Only thing left is to change out all lubes and fluids in the drivetrain before the pickup hits 3000 miles. Got a new LubeLocker gasket for the rear diff.

I forgot I'm also installing Banks Power ram air intake and the Air Dog II 4G lift pump next week as well. I'm hoping all this will wake her up!

I am jealous. The wife jumped on me when I brought this one home; "Don't go screwing with everything this time!". Well....first time this dang thing hiccups it is a getting tune, lift pump, intake, exhaust and egr delete. IF I can leave it along that long, might just have to tell the wife it is messing up, ha!

Ya the car guy/girl's best reason to upgrade is to say the stock one broke or is worn out. Oh it looks like the air filter is dirty, time to get an air intake kit.
