Problems with new Titan tank

Recommended Posts

I just installed a 57g Titan tank to get better range when towing. Here's the issue. I just filled it up for the first time and it burped like crazy. I'm pissed because my F250 did the same thing after I installed the Titan tank. I thought it was an issue with one of the vents being pinched. Now that this tank is doing the same thing, I'm wondering what can be done to stop it from puking fuel all over the side of my truck and on the pavement.

Does anybody else have a Titan tank with the same issues?

I'm planning to call Titan this afternoon to see what they have to say about it.

Who installed the tank? I would definitely talk to the manufacturer, and see what they have to say. Why did it do it on your old truck?

I never figured out why it did it on my old truck. I planned to reroute the vents, but never got to it before I sold it. I plan on keeping this truck for a while, so I want to get it sorted out because I smell like diesel now[emoji35]
