2004 Suburban Rear A/C inop

caveman2014

Question

I have a 2004 suburban 1500. The rear a/c will not blow any air whatsoever. I took the trim out to gain access to the blower motor and blower motor resistor. I noticed that on both rear climate control panels (the one in the front and back) the resistor clicked when turned to "3". ( I checked them seperately) Regardless, I replaced the resistor and blower motor. Blower motor still does not work. I checked the door actuators and the one right behind the rear passenger side door is working properly but the one that is furthest back (closest to the resistor) does not actuate. I'm lost at the point and could use some help. Thanks. Oh! Fuses are fine, first thing I checked. Thanks.

Process of elimination - the only things left are the switch itself, and the wiring. Make sure you have power and a good ground at the motor. If not, check the switch first .. and if that checks out, you've got a wiring issue.
