2014 Sierra all terrain rancho shocks issues

My 2014 Sierra is almost a year old and I have this issue with the passenger side rear shock. Please see the picture. This is normal? The driver side is fine.

There's nothing 'fine' about the OEM Rancho shocks, IMO. Dump 'em. Dump 'em now. Get some decent shocks. You'll be much more pleased with the ride.

I think is leaking.

Ask the dealer to replace them with after market Rancho stocks that are the same. I had to have mine replaced 2times before they finally did this to fix the issue.

Dump those cheap garbage shocks and get some Bilstein 5100 or Fox 2.0's!

is it leaking or is it just missing paint because of the plastic scratching the shock body? It is hard to tell in the pic but if it is just cosmetic then they will more than likely not replace it.

I took the truck to the dealer and they told me that the shock is leaking. They ordered a new one. They will change it this week under warranty.

I swear they just make wear parts to last 36k

my truck only has 3500 miles and I can see that black crap on both rear Rancho shocks, guess mine are leaking too.
