Today at the 2015 New York International Auto Show, GMC shared how it plans to update the Terrain for the 2016 model year. New front and rear fascias along with an updated hood are the most noticeable changes.

We've been waiting to see what GMC had up its sleeve since Chevrolet introduced the 2016 Equinox last month. Since the Equinox and Terrain are pretty much the same vehicle, it was expected the Terrain would get an update this year too.

It is a great vehicle, and this should get even more sales of the Terrain. I had a '12 Terrain SLT and I loved it. Good power (had the 263hp 3.0 V6), very comfortable on a long drive and excellent in the snow. I am glad they finally toned down the Denali version as that used to make it look like a drug dealers car for those that are rubbish at selling drugs and couldn't get the Escalade he wanted. I would still be driving it today if it wasn't for the fact that it was a hot seller and the dealer wanted mine because it had a V6, and they could only get the 4 cylinder versions. They gave me a sweet deal on a Sierra (which I am very happy with too).
