Airaid MIT on 4.8l

Recommended Posts

So i have been doing some research on CAI but everything i find for charts always seems to be for the 5.3l. Is it really worth the 150$? Will the truck have a better throttle response or am i throwing good money any.

Thanks

Honestly, they are nothing more than bling. There is nothing wrong with the factory airbox.

My Dad worked at a wood processing plant, the GM hd air filter kept every bit of dust out, ran excellent.

Nothing but the GM air filters for me.

A 4.8l isn't that much down on HP from a 5.3l so I would expect some gains from a air tube same as a 5.3l and same as a 5.3l I would keep the stock airbox. It is a cold air intake and holds a paper filter that works great.
