Question
redlined_b16a
I have a 2007 Denali with Nav.DVD player and cd player quit working.
Went online and ordered a radio that has the exact same model numbers as my broken one does.
I read online that I could buy another radio and just have GM dealer program our VIN numbers into the new radio to unlock it.
Installed it,It was locked as expected. Our local GM dealer is telling my wife that there is no way to make the radio work with our truck.
Im assuming these guys just don't know or have the proper equipment.
What list of steps can I tell The dealer to do?
What has to be done.
There is just no way GM decided to make a system to where if the radio breaks that's it,you are screwed.
I will contact my wife and get more info,Im offshore at the moment.
Thank You in advance.
Talked to my wife Says GM dealer tried three or 4 ways to program the radio. They told here the radio can not be programmed. We bought it on ebay as a new radio,it was wrapped in factory style sealed plastic.
