2015 GMC Canyon earns a Ward's 10-Best Interior award

The awards for the 2015 GMC Canyon keep stacking up. Last week the Canyon won the Cars.com pickup challenge and this week it was named a Ward's 10-Best Interior. Wards rates the vehicles it considers on design aesthetics, materials, ergonomics, safety, comfort, value, fit-and-finish and driver information.

 

Ward's pointed out the Canyon's long list of interior features, noting "...lots of soft surfaces, a Bose audio system, supple and durable leather, an easily navigated touchscreen and advanced safety features... heated power front seats and a second row that accommodates three comfortably and folds up for additional storage space."

 

Our own review this past week of the 2015 Yukon Denali which has some similar interior features to the Canyon included, "The infotainment system was perhaps the standout in this interior. It is simple to use and easy to appreciate. My phone synched in about five seconds, and I loved all the apps and used them intuitively."

I'm surprised that the 90's era center console and shift lever didn't automatically dq this truck!
