2010 Silverado transmission issue

I have a 2010 Silverado with 4.3 liter engine. Back in September truck was making whining noise in first gear. Dealer replaced a couple carriers and Sprague gear in transmission under warranty. Now whining noise is back in first gear and 5 year power train warranty expired last month. Some gimmick. Anyone else had similar problem? How do you fix this? Not a lot of confidence in dealer since same issue came back so soon. Any advice?

My advice is that if your power train warranty just ran out last month and they've fixed this issue previously, I'd be right back at that dealership and they should do something for you.

Like he said , take it back . Warranty running out means nothing !!!!!!
