Quad foglight LED pods - Anzo Headlights - Rear flush mount LED pods

Recommended Posts

Just got my new headlights and fogs. Decided against paying the crazy prices for the Rigid lights, and went with the no brand EBAY versions. I did use the Rigid brackets though. Total cost for fog lights and brackets - $150. Compared brightness to my buddy's Rigid's and there were no discernable difference. saved about $300. I used one spot and one flood for each side.

Locally on Craigslist the cheapest I see is $450 but I don't see myself paying that when I have a good bumper haha. I did my own custom fogs. 5768bfc73fb447214b908258c7e3f66b.jpg and also did my own custom grill. Why pay the big bucks and get the same result. 2111f047d414925cb3ef9e9f11655042.jpgthis is my latest pic, did a 20" 4d light between my spots. If you want great prices on light bars and pods check out Harborled on instagram, he's a manufacturer in China and has the latest and cheap. The only thing is shipping is a little expensive but you'll get them in a week from day ordered.

Got a link to the lights you used?

Like how these look compared to the rigid lights that fit that they say you have to use. Could hook up 2 to the fog button and then the other 2 to a switch

Nice! I wouldn't buy a bumper either. I got a really good deal on EBay, but I'll check him out too.

Here is the link, http://www.ebay.com/itm/291352816110?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I didn't use a harness at all. I directly wired it to the fog wires. 2 fogs on each side has just about the same draw as 1 incandescent fog light. My rear are harnessed and wired to my overhead switch.

stock foglight bumpers range from $300-600 used-new. I think I saw someone here on the forums selling a complete foglight bumper for ~$450 or so, it comes with a lot more than just the shell that I paid ~$350 for.

the inner brackets for fog lights are already there. To do a fog light bumper conversion you need the bumper, fog lights, fog light buckets, and some bolts to hold it together. That is.. if you're doing your own wiring.

imo its WAY too expensive to do unless you insist on having a factory look like I did.

I think my fog light project probably cost me $2k or so in total, but I was trying to do it "by the book." In the end I still bypassed the bcm and did a manual wire because the forward lamp harness is such a pain, and gm wont fix the bcm to do it stock.

If you're going aftermarket and you dont have stock fogs, you're probably better off cutting into the stock bumper and flush mounting. It'd save loads of money. I have a sort of 99.9% complete write-up thread on adding the "stock foglights" to the trucks if you're interested in that route though. It has all the part #s you need.

What rigid bracket did you use? The only one I seen on their site is not for the cube lights

It still works, the only thing you need to do, is trim some of the plastic housing. Hardest part is aiming them.

Did the rigid mounts make install a lot easier? Im waiting on my pods to come in to do this..was just curious if they're worth the money. Also how are you liking your anzos? I put a set in a month ago. somewhat dissapointed you cant adjust the projectors up and down.

Well I really don't know how I would have mounted them without the brackets,so I guess they are worth the money. If there would have been a cheaper option, I definitely would have gotten it. As far as the Anzo's, I like them but also have the same issue as you about the lack of focus. I got pretty lucky, they are really close to where I would want them.
