2010 Sierra Denali - New Tires and maybe Wheels? - help

Hello everyone,

I own a 2010 GMC Sierra Denali Crew AWD. Currently stock, but I am planning on installing a 2" RC Level Kit.I need new rubber soon so was debating on just getting a more aggressive tire on stock Denali wheels or upgrading those as well while I am in need of new tires anyways. (then sell the Denali wheels to cover some costs maybe)

I have done some research but still unsure on some things..

I wish to have a more aggressive tire then stock, but do not need any huge mudders as I dont want to much road noise or loss in mpg. I understand a little is to be expected which is fine.

I do not mind doing some minor trimming of plastic or zip tieing some plastic back to get it away from the tire when turning but do not want to do anymore. I also have GMC Mud flaps which id like to keep?

Option #1:

- 2" RC Level Kit

- Stock 20" Denali wheels

- What tire? What size options do I have? (I am thinking of a terra grappler or AT tire)

Option #2

- 2" RC Level Kit

- New 20x9 wheels with an offset of around 0 to +18 (dont want it sticking out to much but dont mind flush or a little)

- What tire? What size options do i have? Id assume same as stock tire but the offset would change? (I am thinking of a terra grappler or AT tire)

Keep in mind I have a budget of about $1500 +/- a few hundred. (Then I will sell my wheels and try to recoup costs)

Pictures say a million words, so please help if others have the same set up. Thanks in advance!

you can get a pretty penny for those wheels. I say go for the 0 offset wheels. As for tires what do you do with your truck? A lot of miles? Want to keep the plush Denali ride? I'd go with the p rated 275 55 20 duratracsif snow is a concern. I know 5 or 6 guys that plow and run them (e rated obviously) on winter wheels and they are awesome in the snow. Just my .02
