Issues with Flood Waters in Texas

Recommended Posts

A street in my area was slightly flooded. I'd say maybe about a foot or two. at the worst 3. I'll have pictures attached. I had no choice to go out tonight. My 4.3 SILVERADO 2002 V6 Sits on 20's ... I did notice at times my sepertine belt would kinda of make a noise ( like it normally does when wet ) and then go away... I got back home with no issues... I just want to make sure if you guys consider 2 to 3 feet of water an issue for the truck or any possible damage might have been done... From what I am seeing it might just be about 1 to 2 feet, the curbs off the street is aout 4 - 6 inches.

She is getting an oil change and a new air filter in the morning, new distrtubtor cap , plugs, wire was done about a week ago.

As long as you didn't suck in any through the intake, you'll be fine. My guess is your good.

Horrible flooding in my area. My truck was parked on the street, being level with 33s and the water was about to reach the door, I said F that and parked on my neighbors driveway.
