Fold Down rear seat back

Hey guys, I was going through some old bookmarks, and came across one that I used on my 2002 Silverado extended cab. Basically this lets you fold the seat back down. Pretty nifty. All you have to do is trim the bracket a bit so that when the seat bottom is folded up, it will allow you to fold the seat back down flat.

The new 2014+ trucks use a similar bracket to attach the seat back to the back of the cab, so I am wondering if it would work in a similar fashion. There are two sliding brackets on the bigger bench part, and one sliding bracket on the smaller part.

 

Anyone want to be a guinea pig and try this? I would say start with the smaller seat and trim a little bit at a time until you can make it work. I'm too chicken to try tho...

Yep. Cut 2 1/2" off on my 16.

I did this on my 08 and it was the same on my 17.
