Rally edition racing stripes

Recommended Posts

Hey guys. I own a silver 2015 2500HD. I keep seeing the "rally edition" trucks with those sweet racing stripes on them, and I am fiending to put them on my truck. Has anyone put these on themselves? How difficult was it? Would you recommend having a shop/dealer do it? I'd love to see some pictures if you guys have any.

Thanks!

I love the looks of the stripes, my next truck will be a rally edition. I think I read a post on here that someone sprayed plasti dip and made some good looking stripes. There are shops that cut vinyl and can make anything in any color.

I have seen them installed in my body shop. No way would I try it diy. If you do you need at least two people and you are still running the risk of ruining expensive graphics. There are a few black on black rally trucks in my area. I actually think they look sharp.

They look great.

I would go with the OEM. Don't get the ebay or internet versions....they are very low quality. The OEM are 3M non-fade material. I would recommend a shop that does car wraps install. They are very familiar with the 3M material they are made of...and do it every day....

I still have an awesome set in an unopened box if someone wants them.

I completely disagree that a 2500HD does not deserve strips. Just because its big, bad, it still deserves that bow-tie love. Much happier with my 2500 than 1500. A world of difference.
