I have a 2003 z71 ext cab, no access to tis2web (I have tis2000) and I am trying to enable DIC in the IPC and TBC.

 

I have been told that I need to get VCI numbers for both modules and program them, without access to tis2web and not being a dealer I assume that is not possible.

 

I am wondering if I can reprogram the IPC and/or TBC with a VIN that has DIC and similar options as my 2003?

In case anyone is wondering, using a VIN number from a similar vehicle that has the option you are wanting enabled worked perfectly.
