Who else is waiting for a 2016 or 2017?

Recommended Posts

I'm hoping the 2016's will have rear air vents to keep passengers comfortable in the hot Arizona sun and that they will have an available blue tooth smart key with a push button starter.

Being able to remote start the car and turn on the AC with a smart phone would be a nice touch, too.

I mostly use Android devices so I'm looking forward to the upgraded infotainment technology I've been reading about in the next refresh.
Since reading this site, I'm pretty turned off by the transmission shifting issues in the 14's and 15's and am hoping it's a non-issue for the 2016's and beyond. An 8-speed auto tranny for the V6 or 5.3 would be nice.
The other common issues seem like reasonably easy fixes, though.
I'm not too crazy about the powertrain warranty being reduced to 60k, though.
I have two vehicles that run fine so I'm in no hurry.

I was set on buying a 15 but am waiting to see what changes are made. The rear vents are a big thing for me in texas as well.

Airplay or whatever it's called and 8speed dont do much for me but hopefully other changes will be things I want

But the 4.5L one, please!

Can you imagine 520lb-ft in a 1500?

Everything would go with sooo much ease.

That would be sweet! Good mpg, 1/2 ton ride and a lot of torque off idle.

It needs to happen yesterday!!!

I am going to trade my 2014 Denali as soon as the 16's are out. I want a white Denali 6.2 4x4 with every option available.

Do you dislike you current Denali?

The Onstar app can remote start the vehicle from a smartphone. You can also get tire pressure, oil life, fuel mpg, lock, unlock doors, load turn by turn to the vehicle, etc.
