New predictions say that General Motors will partner with Navistar International to private label the company's medium duty trucks. In a story at Forbes, the publication says it has sources saying that the partnership would result in GM selling the class 4, 5, and 6 trucks. Ford recently exited a relationship with Navistar for similar vehicles. The company plans to build its own trucks for this segment called the F-650 and F-750.

GM is continuing to reform itself into a company that looks surprisingly like the one leading up to the 2008 and 2009 financial collapse during which GM went through a very unusual bankruptcy. In a related story, we recently reported that GM is planning to work with Isuzu for a specific type of truck/cab configuration serving some medium duty applications.
