Any other golfers out there?

I'm sure there are, but thought I would start a thread (unless I just missed an existing one).

Went out today and the weather was beautiful. It finally cooled down a bit from the 100*+ days we've had lately, so I figured it was a good day for some golf.

I was having a great start to my day and had just finished a great hole and put my next tee shot on the green and then this happened...

The storm came out of nowhere and it wasn't supposed to rain until later tonight. Oh well, it was still fun and got a rain check so I'll go back out again this weekend.

Love golf ,

Get golf now app and find a course near you that's a part of their programme , they have "hot deals" that are ridiculous , I pay at my local redneck course $10-16 for 18 holes and a cart , I pay it to golf now thru my phone and show up , it's in their system and they hand me the keys to the cart and say , " have a nice round sir "

I giggle and go !!!!

Reg price is $69 , for a cart and 18

I recently played at one of our local courses.. We had our family reunion there a couple weeks ago it's very nice!! And to top it off we had the whole course to our selfs.. Here's a picture of the ninth hole!! You can't really see it but the course is surrounded on one side by a lake!!

Getting ready to go watch the guys on the Web.com tour tee it up at the Boise Open. Only been to the driving range a couple of times so far. Other than that haven't even pulled the clubs out. I am retired, but most of my friends are still working. Sucks to go on weekends and I hate going out as a single as I always seem to get stuck with some *club throwing/cussing* douche. End of rant.

Haven't gone golfing in about 10 years minus mini-putting, but I did enjoy it when I did. My only issue is if there was a water hazard my ball would be attracted to it like a magnet.
