Service Airbag light help

Wasekcj

Question

Hello, I bought a 2010 Silverado with a slight front end damage to the front right. Both airbags were deployed. The impact sensors are still intact they weren't damaged and I had the airbag module reset from a professional. Also I replaced both of the airbags is there something I missed I can't figure out the problem.

Without guessing you are going to have to get a Tech 2 hooked up and see what is going on with it. Could be a bad component or a communication problem. Also if there was a bad component and you powered everything up you could have activated the module again. And on some of those modules you can only reset them once. Good Luck

I'm getting 3 codes P0573, B0015 and B0022

You won't. You need an enhanced scanner capable of communication with vehicle subsystems. The generic scanners can only pull basic powertrain codes.

P0573

Brake Switch Circuit 1 High Voltage
The ECM detects an open or short to voltage on the signal circuit

Probable Cause

1. Short circuit condition
2. Faulty switch

B0015 and B0022 If I remember correctly are driver and passenger front seat belt Pre-tensioner circuits have failed to self test correctly.
