2700 miles - AT tires were removed and Bridgestone R500 tires added. 4 new place on rear. 4 more swapped to dually wheels off my 2010. 2 of those tires placed on front. All wheels have 6 ounces of Counteract balancing beads placed inside at tire change.

Also added TST 507 tire monitor system with internal sensors.

Bug shield from Stampede added and screened the front grill

101_0033_zpsa695f753.jpgI never liked that GM put that huge gap in the bumper with no guard or how big the gaps are in the grill.

Its 1/4 galvanized Screen. Called Hardware Screen found at local farm and fleet store. I have a piece of scrap metal shelving to keep the screen in the bumper in place. The screen on the grill is cut around the stock grill and tied on with galvanize tie wire.

Eliminated rear mud flaps add fenders under bed and mud flaps added to fenders. Fenders and mudflaps bought off http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com

Bought 1" aluminum angle, 1" galvanized pipe, and stainless bolts from hardware store. I wasn't happy to find out the company the dealer had install the bed didn't use stainless to bolt to the aluminum. So all that got changed out also.

First pull with added tank.

101_0093_zpsd9e3dca8.jpg

Truck pulled 9300 pound trailericon1.png to WA

Scale weights 4920 front 6740 rear..Truck total 11,660. 8120 on trailer axles, 19,780 total Combination. Weighed right after topping off with fuel approx 175 gallonshappy0007.gif

Averaged 9.7 mpg after first refill. 1364 miles added 140 gallons
Drop and about 150 miles @ second fill up
I used the trip meter on GPS just to compare to odometer. Odometer is about 4% higher in miles compared to GPS miles.
955 miles odometer / 932 miles GPS. Bought 86 gallons
Averaged is 11.08 mpg by odometer, 10.8 mpg GPS. For now I decide to use GPS for fuel economy.
Without trailer, all mile between last fill. 2038 GPS miles 112.87 gallons filled averaged 18.05 mpg.
Truck now has over 10k miles and I see mpg is improving.

Regens on this truck are at 800 miles when not working hard. It seems the Cab and Chassis is Detuned an LGH motor. As a result longer regen interval.
Noted regens on trip
Regened at 6740 on odometer, 7340 (trailer on), 8140, 9014, and 9850.
