Carplay upgrade?

Anyone know if GM will release an update flash for our suv's to give us carplay?

I remember reading somewhere that it's a hardware and software upgrade, but don't have the reference. I agree, it would be nice.

Unlikely to ever happen. There were several 'features' originally planned. It was only after they had thousands of units in manufacturing did they realize it is generally not a good idea to ignore your supplier's specifications when it comes to memory, CPU capability, etc. Oops.

Nah I doubt it it would discourage sales of the new trucks.

I really hope it's possible, I'm assuming (yeah I know) that is nothing more than a software update. If thats the case, there is a possibility of it being doable.
