I need help with the A/C in my truck...

I have a 2001 2500HD with a 6.0

Well, my a/c blew out really cold and good. But I turned it on high and it randomly stopped blowing. Then made a little noise. The compressor didn't shut off or anything. It just stopped blowing. Anyone know what would cause that?

maybe the blower fan died? or does it still work with the a/c off

I figured it out! There's some wires that I messed with under the dash and it fixed it. I don't know what I really did. A friend who had a truck similar told me to check the wires cause his truck did the same thing, he said jiggle the wires a little bit and it'll fix it. And it did.

YOu need to investigate further. Look carefully at the blower resistor and its connector

The problem may be caused by a burned out resistor.
