New Forums(s) - Non Vehicle-Specific?

I recently put up a thread about extended warranties. I didn't see an appropriate area for it on its own, so I tucked it into the 2014+ Sierra/Silvy area where I typically hang out. Since it was in reference to a Traverse, a mod moved it to a different area. No worries - I got some decent feedback that was helpful.

 

Still, it made me wonder why there aren't areas to discuss items like extended warranties, finance suggestions, general tips and tricks for a purchase / negotiation, etc. that are not vehicle-specific. These kinds of things really span vehicle purchase and ownership in general, and it would seem like they should get a more general category since they don't apply only to one particular vehicle.

Agreed... not vehicle-specific. In fact, it's kind of "anti vehicle" because it's a catch-all sort of place. I'm thinking of an area for vehicle-related conversation (like the towing area) that are not confined to just one specific vehicle.

I have brought it up in the past as a suggestion. There are alot of topics on the gm-card, current offers etc that a seperate section would be great for. Hopefully Zane or Josh see this and add it

mygmdiscount.com is another place to get offers for things like Credit Union membership... We could use a place to discuss that sort of stuff.

We are certainly open to creating any new forum that is needed. A vehicle buying focused forum would be easy. We'll discuss and let you all know soon.
