2015 prices....

Recommended Posts

Well I'm new to the board and in the market for a 6.0 2500HD Denali.....decided on gas over diesal because I just don't need it....mostly city, no towing, basically just want to upgrade from my current 2012 Ram Sport....

I don't want Black or White which makes the pickings tough as most of the cars on the lot are those 2 colors....what's the current market on these things....I'm looking at coming in and saying I want to pay invoice minus the $2,000 cash back.....the dealer makes the holdback and gets rid of '15 before the 2016's arrive....is this a pipedream?

2015's have 3 yr /36,000 & 5 year 100,00

2016's have 3 yr/36,000 & 5 year / 60,000

so not good for a bargaining chip on a 2015

I the Mid West & Tx ... you may get 20% off sticker more ..

On the coast you may be lucky to get 10% off sticker

2500's are not discounted like 1500's

Definitely agree on this one. I've been pushing off a purchase for months hoping for some drop in price, but it's nearly the same price it was 6 months ago. I guess I'll wait for the '16s at this point.

I was able to get 17% off of sticker in Oklahoma. Sticker was just north of $66,000, I paid $55000 before trade.

Not sure why, but finding a 2500 high country diesel was difficult.

All the inventory is ordered by the dealer(s), so they don't order theat combination too often

Yeah I thought there same thing until I saw a bunch of them on the rode with 50 miles of my location. I was fortunate, the one I bought was still wrapped up, just came off the transport the night before I purchased it. I found many black ones for sale but didn't want the nightmare I experience with my black 2010 2ss Camaro (black)

Depends on the area. Around here they order a crap ton of High Country HD's.

I see a lot of high country and Denali HD GAS 6.0. Very few with the $9,000 duramax option. My local dealer just got a sweet Denali HD in Brownstone, but 6.0 Gas.

icon1.gif GM Internet Private Offer

Is GM still offering these??

Is this the right place for the inquiry??

I have attempted repeatedly with various suggestions provided on the forum to no avail. Using Chrome Incognito, all different times of day, changing parameters of vehicles, offers, finance, all to NO avail.

Does anyone have an offer that pops up that they will not use?

GM must be offering the offer in different parts of the country?

Trading 09 Silverado for new and the $ 1500 would push me over the edge.

Call me at 651-271-7254 as it appears the popup does not stay on the page that long.

THANKS

Time of the year and location has a lot to do with things. I got my 2015 2500 6.0 LT Z71 Double cab back in late Feb / early March. the sticker was around $49K. I got it, before trade, at $38K. Was not during one of those "Chevy Truck Month" sales either.

I just traded in my 2012 Duramax 3500 W/T 4x4 CC DRW for a 2015 2500 LT 4x4 CCSB Z71 with the 6.0. Sticker was $50K and the purchase price was $39K. On the trade side, the dealer did really good and I got $3K more than the best trade in price that I could get from a bunch of other dealers. My 2012 was the best trade in I ever got from a dealer. I bought it for $40K in 2012 and they gave me $34K in trade. That truck only cost me about $142/month since when I bought it I got 0% financing too. I don't think I will be able to come even close to that good of a deal on my 2015 (which I pick up tomorrow).

So I got about 22% off sticker on my 2015 - which I am pretty happy with.

Great Deal !

Fuuny thing - look up your truck in NADA or Blue Book as used, and it will be MUCH higher than what you paid !

so much for the book values being accurate ...

Thanks Cowpie and Charlie, I picked it up this morning and I'm loving the sound of a V8 gas engine again. I really liked my Duramax, but it left me high and dry twice - and then immediately had the same issue a third time after being at the dealer for a couple of weeks. I treat trucks and guns the same - if they ever let me down - I get rid of them.
