key fob remote to open and lock doors question for 2015 2500HD

Ok i know this is going to sound dumb considering the amount of time i have had the truck . i just had lights installed on the truck and now i notice that when you go to unlock truck with the remote the rear back up lights don't come on and for the life of me can't remember if they only came on at night or all the time? other question does the rear cargo light also come on .

It is amazing the things you don't realize till after the fact. thanks

Mine come on when I hit the remote. Could just be a setting in your my link system

Cargo lights don't come on.

Exterior lighting settings can be controlled via the radio screen under the settings page.

Exterior lighting (flood lighting) comes on when you unlock if the ambient light sensor picks up low or no light conditions. You can also control the unlock/lock park lamps if you want them to flash or not.
