Oh wow i feel stupid haha didn't realize that was a button...Thanks for the help!

I am a diehard GM truck guy, had tons of them, I ordered my '14 3500HD and spent the entire winter pissed off because the mirrors were always frozen, I couldn't believe the tow mirrors were not heated then I went to sell the truck this summer and I will be damned if the new owner didn't get in and press the heated mirror button...

Were they power tow mirrors? They were heated on those trucks, just the upper glass. Worked when you hit the rear window defroster.

No rear defrost on old body style ('14) when power rear slider selected so it has its own switch for mirrors, yes they were power and heated.

Don't feel too bad, it took me a while to find that too. That's the only button or knob that I touch when I want my lights on during the day, especially when I'm on "daytime headlight use" roads.
