My truck did that the other day - was out in a field repairing a 70's Ford 5000 using my onboard air compressors (yeah, there's 2 back there), while having the tunes cranked for about 5 hours or so. After the 3rd 5 minute run of the compressor, the battery light came on. Shut everything down and the CD started shuffling and the clock went back to 12:00. Had to throw it on the charger when I got home. Thank God I bought that Odyssey last winter! I'd still be out in the field ...

Sounds like they either left a ground wire loose, or the battery cable connection is dirty. Remove and clean both battery connections, and ground straps and wires from chassis to engine and battery.

My wife's 05 Tahoe does the same thing. The battery cable continually works loose and causes it to crank slowly and it's like removing the battery cable completely.

Thanks Doug. I am going to check the connections tonight when my wife gets home. That's what I was thinking, but just wanted to see if there were any other ideas.
