Chevrolet and GMC passed along a few photos from the State Fair of Texas this morning. The two brands are currently showing off updates and enhancements for the 2016 lineup.

Why the State Fair of Texas? Well, the longhorn state brings in the biggest share of truck sales out of ANY state. Truck buyer and Texan go hand in hand.

Thanks to our friends, General Motors Photographers Steve Fecht and Mike Stone, for sending these photos our way.

Yeah that Midnight HD is super sweet. That's about the only new GM truck that I'd leave alone if I bought one, haha. It might be running a 275/70/18 tire...

Found it in the order guide...new size for Goodyear:

Tires, LT265/70R18E AT aggressive tire tread, black wall, Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac. Aggressive tread may result in a higher level of noise while driving. Routine tire rotations are strongly recommended.

1 - Included and only available with (PDY) Midnight Edition. Aggressive tread may result in a higher level of noise while driving. Routine tire rotations are strongly recommended. Note: Spare tire is (QWF) LT265/70R18E all-season, blackwall tire with (PYT) 18" painted steel wheel.

Thanks for the information! Dang it. I hoped they were bigger than that, haha. A big truck needs a big tire! At least they'll look better than the other factory options I guess...

That Custom HD Z71 though...:drool:

Clearly running the AVF 18" wheel but what size tire is that Duratrac? Stock tires are 265/70/18...Unless Goodyear has yet to announce a new tire size...

With the massive list of options from GM and from dealers via GM parts, it's hard to call that "custom"
