Hi guys. I've been searching and can't find a definitive answer. I have a 2015 GMC Sierra Z71 4WD. I am installing a RC 2.5" Level and running 20X9 rims with a +18 offset. My question is, what is the biggest tire I can run without rubbing. I like the wheel well to be filled up and filled out. I was looking at 295/60 but I'm not sure if it will rub. Please help me out!
I purchased 4 GoodYear Wrangler DuraTrac Tires today in the OEM size on my truck - 275/55R20.
At 20,000 miles I didn't like the look of the SRA's for the upcoming Ohio winter. Here are some photos.
FYI - I drive my truck about 6,000 - 7,000 miles per year.
Like New 20" GMC Sierra OEM 6 Spoke Rims. These have the original tires Goodyear Wrangler 275 / 55R20 installed as well with ~4-5mm of tread left.
The rims are in perfect shape, no scratches or gouges, they have been babied and only have 36K miles on them.
See the photos below, they were just washed (sorry for the water on them)
I swapped rims / tires for my truck and don't want these to go to waste.
$1000 for all 4 Rims and Tires - Local Pickup or meeting
Currently I have worn out 285/70r17s 7.5in rim on my truck and its time to put some winter tires on these rims. I have a set of 18in rims for summer so this is only for the winter. Im looking for a dedicated snow tire and I get the Multi Mile LT235/80r17 E Trail Cutter M&S for $137 each. My other options are a 245/75r17 at $138, 265/70/17 at $150, or 285/70/17 at $180. It looks like the 235s are the tallest out of the bunch aside from the 285 and I think that is to wide. The tires are 10ply and rated for 80psi ( I run my 285s at 70psi and they tow amazing much better then the stock SR-A`s). I would love to see some pictures if anyone has skinny`s tires and get everyones advice. If you answer is DONT DO IT just let me know why. Thanks everyone!!!!
