P0446, p0462

Question

Hello,

So I am having a check engine light issue with my truck and I had the codes checked and I got both p0446 and p0452. This truck was passed down to me and it had issues with the check engine light and apparently all they had to do was change the gas cap because it didn't seal right. I've done some research and a couple places said that it's the gas cap and so I went out and replaced the gas cap and that didn't seem to do it. One other thing is the service engine light will sometimes turn off anywhere from 5 mins to 15 mins. I'm at a dead end right now and don't know what to do.

I have a 2004 Silverado with a 5.3l and I have the same issues I have replaced the purge valve solenoid and the evap canister. I have spent I guess about $50 bucks total to no avail are the last items the wiring and the tank pressure sensor? Any other items to look out for or check the code is a P0446.
