The 6.2 can safely handle up to around 700hp with proper tuning but you'll still need the proper supporting mods.

 

The big advantage with a kit like this is that it can grow with you as you continue to mod/build.

6.2 should be able to take more. The 5.3 has already been run and proven to reliably hold 800 on stock components and internals, as well as the Trans. May need to upgrade injectors for over 600hp tho, I can't remember. But the 6.2 should easily do better than 700

Which 5.3 are you basing that on? The old one? The 2014+ 5.3 is the next gen engine, just like the 6.2. The Vette guys typically suggest staying around 700hp at the tires for maximum reliability. Can you push it? Yes, but you're pushing your luck.
