98 K1500 Trans Cooler Lines

I'm rebuilding my transmission on my 1998 k1500 silverado and I'm replacing the trans cooler and lines. Would it be ok to make my own lines from a 25ft section of brake line as long as it's the same diameter? Would the trans fluid cause it to corrode or do anything wierd? And if so is there a type of line I should get for just this?

Not sure of all the details, but I would just buy new lines. $50.00 and you are done.
