I recently just bought myself a brand new Silverado. It is my first truck, and my first brand new vehicle. It is a 2016 Silverado 1500 lt-2 z71. I have in the past week tinted the windshield 35% and matched the two front windows to match the rears. I just got in the mail my RC leveling kit. My step bars should be in on monday. Within the next week I am going to install everything and update pictures.

On my to do list-

the fully loaded tow mirrors

a tuner not too sure what one just yet

a retractable tonneau cover

and switching my cloth to leather.

wheels and tires in the future just not too sure what i want.

Nice truck, curious though...if you wanted leather why did you not wait and get a model with leather already in it? Especially being in the current year model?

Thanks! They gave me the rebates to buy before the end of the year, and they didnt have any on the lot. Plus from experience GM leather isn't worth the money they charge. The aftermarket Katskins leather is better quality and more affordable imo. They are charging me $1,050 to convert it.

So this week I got around to getting my sub put in. It is the JL audio powered 8" sub. This thing hits for

being a nice compact unit. I am more than happy with it. I also installed my step bars, I am not too crazy about them, not because of quality but just the look they give the truck. In the future i will find the ones to my liking. Last but not least I got my RC 2" leveling kit installed. It was much needed. The truck sits at a much nicer stance. I did not get pictures after the install just yet.

  • 5 months later...

I have not had much time to update or even work on my truck, but now that the weather has broke I added some goodies in the past 2 weeks. First was a Diablo iTune running the 91 tune with no DoD. Then added a k&n Intake.

This week I installed 20x9 Fuel Krank wheels with 33x12.5r20 tires and recon smoked tailights.
