Heated seats not very warm

Recommended Posts

I feel like the heated seats in my 2014 denali don't get very warm at all. In my previous 2007 silverado ltz, those seats could damn near cook an egg, these seats I'm not sure if they are warming me up, or if I'm just warming them up. Any one else have this issues?

Are you referring to while you are driving or when you do remote start? If you are referring to remote start this is a common situation

Either or, I thought I read something about them not getting as warm if the chair doesn't sense that someone is sitting in it,but still my driver seat heater sucks

2015 LTZ and mine seem to take a while to heat up, and don't get near as warm as in my wife's 2015 Gran Cherokee. May just be a GM thing as the seats in my vette don't get very warm either.

My 2011 seats would get warm almost instantly and got very toasty, my 15 Denali not so much, had them on for over a hour the other day and they were warm, but no where near my other truck. I am going to talk to dealer when she goes for service, I'm thinking they should be way warmer

Mine gets nice and toasty within a few minutes. But I have leather seats. I am wondering if the difference between the warm vs toasty is caused by cloth seats.

I think that the comparison is that these perforated leather heated & cooled seats are warm & cool vs. hot & cold like toes in other cars or trucks. Same complaint on the forum last winter. The heated only seats are a different technology than the perforated leather heated & cooled seats. But, I like them the way they are - would not want them any warmer than they are for winter or colder in the summer. The dealers have a bulletin explaining how these seats work and that thy will not be "hot", but "warm" is as designed.
