2006 Silverado 2500HD Front End Issues

Question

Hello everyone, I need some help! I have been using my 4 wheel drive a lot and noticed just a tiny bit of noise in the front end when it was in 4 wheel drive. It was so subtle so I didn't think much of it. Well today when I was on the highway around 55 to 60 miles per hour and more when I let off the gas there's a light thunk thunk thunk sound and or vibration on the front passenger side. Its hard to explain the noise but it sort of a thunk or vibration. Seems to only happen at those speeds and this is when it is in 2 wheel drive. Any advice or help is appreciated! We don't have good technicians out where I live and there's no one to trust.

If this only happens on dry pavement, that may be the cause. No matter how close you match tires, they are never the exact same diameter. It is rare that you will ever need 4wd at speeds over 50mph, since road conditions have to be able to support the speed as well. If the roads are dry, put it back into 2wd.

The truck was in two wheel drive when this was happening I was just mentioning the noise in four wheel drive at a different time. Two wheel drive it does the vibration when I let off the gas and yes it's when its on dry pavement
