2.5" front and 2" rear level kit?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone done this combo? I was thinking MOTOFAB

This would not necessarily "level" the truck, but would raise it and maintain a slight rake. I like this idea since it seems that some of the trucks that I see with level kits sag the slightest bit in the back when traveling at speed on the highway. I was thing doing a 1/2" lower in the front would fix this issue.

Whats everyone's opinion on this?

I'm wondering also because I'm thinking about Motofab and to also raise the rear 2". On the site it says for the front that because of suspension geometry that the actual lift isn't a 1 to 1 ratio. So I emailed Motofab to find out the actual lift and haven't seen an answer. So I'm not really sure the size lift to get for the front. I don't want just a level because of what you said and how it was on my 98. Anytime I had any kind of real weight in the bed or towing it looked like it was dragging ass. I also don't want to do a big left like 4"+ because I'm not that tall and still want to be able to use the bed without any real problem with height.

That's what I have in my truck with a slight rake in the rear if you want I can take some pictures of it so you can see how it looks with the 2.5" and 2" in the rear. Both front and rear are from MOTOFAB

A bit dirty since it rained a couple days ago and haven't had a chance to wash it but here are the pictures with the 2.5" in the front with the 2" rear block with 295/55/20 nitto trail grappler.

I've got the 2.5 RC levelling kit with 3" rear blocks(lifts the back 2" instead of 1"). And I'm running 285/75-17 Terra Grapplers(roughly 33.5x11.5). I get no rubbing and have some rake incase of any extra weight I put in the box. I can take pics today.

3" Front level ?? If you get a chance, take some pictures of your angles. I would be highly interested to see what they look like. I have a 2" RC front level and wish it were higher. Thought about a 3" front and 3" rear block but was certain it would be a lot of strain on front end parts.

My problem is that most if not damn near all of the trucks I see on here that's leveled doesn't have a toolbox with a lot of weight in it like I do. I could swear that it's enough weight in the toolbox that ti lowered the rear some. I think I may still do 2" front and rear because of that since I want to keep a rake.

SSGuy55, did you get the 2" in the front and 2" in the rear to keep the stock look? I'm looking to do the same since I tow a 1000lb aluminum boat. It's not a lot of weight to make a difference but you never know if the next boat will weigh more. The other option would be to remove the factory stock 1" block in the rear and add the 2" block which would obviously only give me 1" in the rear. I have a 2015 Z71 LT w/ 3.42 gears. Also, I'm thinking about going with Nitto Grappler 285/65/18 which is just under a 33" tire. Not sure how this will change ride and MPG but after some research I'm guessing not that much.
