I did the same, big difference in having it professionally installed (tight versus loose). I went with heat as well, and it ran me all in about $1200 USD here in Vancouver, BC. Worth every damn penny.

As for other interior mods, I replaced the cheap wood grain door trim with OEM silver to match the rest of the truck ($100), got a CD slot magnetic cell phone holder (awesome solution), and a simple adhesive mount for my Escort Redline Radar Detector that sits above the rearview mirror.

Still looking for a some high quality soft rubber mats (the OEM GMC ones don't do much) and some kind of center arm rest tray organizer. yeah yeah, I know, lots of threads, but mines a reg cab, so both items are different

GM has a newer full coverage set of mats. Supposed to be a softer feel than a weather tech etc

Can you please post a picture of your radar detector mounted in your truck? I've been messing with the best option to mount my Escort 8500.  Thanks,

The Katzskin wi5h the contrast piping looks really nice.    For some reason, and I am open to being corrected, I’ve had the impression that product is better than mu OEM leather.

nice.

I have a Silverado with black Katzkin leather with red stitching. When my truck was in the dealer for repairs they gave me a Sierra SLT with leather to drive. In my opinion, the Katzkin leather looks better and was softer. Others may have differing opinions.

How is the Katzkin holding up through the years?  I'm wanting to add leather to my 17 Silverado, TIA!

Also, for those that bought the Katzkin kits from ebay, what was the cost for installation?
