Error Codes P0151, P0174, P0300, P0430 and Service Stabilitrak and Tra

Recommended Posts

We've had a bunch of things happen at once to this 2007 Yukon XL 5.3 4WD, and I suspect it's all part of the same problem. Besides the above problems, we also have rough idle, and it occasionally shifts hard out of first gear. I've searched this forum and others, and I've found similar but not the exact symptoms, so I'm hoping someone can tell me if I'm thinking right on this. I don't hear any loud knocking, so I don't think the lifters are a problem. The vehicle has around 175,000 miles.

1) Replace upstream oxygen sensor

2) Check the fuel pressure and possibly replace the fuel pump

3) Check for intake manifold leaks and possibly replace gaskets

4) Check resistor by spare tire and possibly replace

5) Check/clean mass air flow sensor

6) Next check/replace the throttle body/throttle body position sensor

Thanks - baskervi

ive noticed on mine that anything making the engine run rough will also make it say service stabilitrak, etc. get the engine running right and those more than likely will go away. i had a spark plug wire pop off and it said the same thing. speaking of that, plugs and wires ever been changed?
