New GM owner from DFW area

Recommended Posts

Hello all. I am the proud owner of a 2015 GMC Sierra All Terrain that I picked up about a month ago. I am really enjoying the idea sharing on this site and seeing the different setups you all have. This is my first pickup and have owned Nissan Armadas as my last 2 vehicles. I am happy with the truck so far but think there may be an issue with the memory seats. The first few weeks I seem to remember just being able to hit the seat 1 option and the seat and peddles would move into the setting I selected. But now I have to hold the button down till they completely move into place. If I press and release in the middle of them moving, they will stop. I have tried searching the forum but haven't had any luck finding someone mentioning a similar issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome, in order for my seats to work I use the easy exit, so when you park your truck pull out the key you seat will move back so it's easier for you to exit. Now to set up your seat, with the vehicle running adjust your pedals , then adjust your seat how you would like it, once this is done you will hit the set button and than the number 1 button, don't hold these buttons down, hit set than 1'and release them and you should be all good. It's in your manual as well. When you exit you vehicle it moves the seat back. Lock it, when you come out to go some where hit the unlock button and you seat will move into your memory 1 position. It should all work great. I hope this helps you, again you will find all the info in your manual. Be safe
