I never cared for all of the extra plastic stuff on the Avalanche's. They did start to look better when they stopped putting the big plastic pieces along the side, just really not as bad. I think '07 was the first year they stopped putting that on it.

hmm... not sure how i feel about it...

I know how I feel... it's shit. They aren't even offering anything unique or exciting or extra capable.

Why not offer a direct competitor to the raptor instead of this shit? All they did was toss a few after market parts and probably charge twice as much for it.

Closest thing to the Avalanche since the Avalanche..

Is it more than a 'light bar' added to a crew?

Doesn't look like it. If it was a light bar they would have a couple lights to show that and also you can tell the top is too low in my opinion. You would normally at least see the light mounts just higher than the cab itself. As said, it's basically just GM bringing back the Avalanche without calling it a different model name, just a special edition trim. The piece right behind the cab looks exactly like the piece on an Avalanche and also the bed rails look like it's more added plastic to tie in with the piece at the cab.

I agree! It has the same sucky wheels as the current HC.

My first Avalanche was an '04 and the reason I bought was NO CLADDING. I had an '04 and an '07. I wanted a Black Diamond but it wasn't in the cards when they were available.

I lost my '07 in January when I was rear ended. I ordered a '16 CC LTZ and did got it pretty close to my '07 less a couple of options I didn't need or want anymore.

I am a little disappointed that this wasn't available or announced sooner. I am curious about the price and how it compares to the Suburban Based Avalanche's from years past.

I love my new Silverado. I'll have to see where I am at with the new "High Desert" once I am in the market again. Maybe I will have all of the Avalanche out of my blood by then and won't care.

Other than how it looked, I believe it had the same rear suspension that the SUVs had. So no leaf springs, but coil springs. I could be wrong though.

I want saddle bags - just like my current Avalanche and just like the RamBox... I want the RamBox on my 2016 Sierra... WAH!

I wonder if I can buy the parts separately and if they would fit on a standard bed...
