Question
DeathB4ford9
1998 Chevy K1500 will run and idle fine. Once running awhile there is pressure build up and raw fuel is coming up my EVAP line and dumping into the charcoal box resolving in raw fuel dumping into the engine when it's supposed to be vapor. We are now switching out the Evap canister purge solenoid assuming that this isn't controlling the vacuum like it's supposed to and resulting in the fuel pump constantly running, creating the pressure to send the fuel up my Evap line. This is just a guess, we checked the fuel injection spider box and all lines are fine with no raw fuel dumping out, I've heard this is rare among most vehicles but happens with the 5.7 from time to time. If anyone has any insight please advise. We are hitting a wall on this.
