Question

Hello, first time poster here and fairly new to GM trucks in general.
I just purchased a 1999 GMC Suburban SLT 2500 4x4 with 160k miles on it. Very clean truck. I've only driven it this past weekend around town. On 2 different occasions, completely separate from one another, the truck had zero power when accelerating (in Drive both times). The engine wouldn't even rev up. First time this happened, I put the vehicle in park and then back in drive and it worked fine. The second time it happened, I dropped it into neutral and back into drive and it worked fine. I don't think it would be the trans considering the engine isn't responding to me pushing the gas pedal. The two times it happened, I was parked at a store and it happened right away when leaving. I can floor it and the truck will barely move, and the engine will NOT rev up. No lights on dash. I have my fingers crossed that this isn't a major issue!
Thanks for any help. Much appreciated
